The SDi workshops seem expensive to me. Why?
ANSWER: The cost of participating in SDi workshops and other learning opportunities are in line with, indeed often less expensive than, similar events in the broad adult education area. The intrinsic value of the SDi technology as taught by Dr. Don Beck is in fact a priceless personal and career investment. Many SDi workshop participants go on to work directly with the technology in their own field of endeavor, recouping their investment in a short period of time. All participants go on to benefit on a personal level, as well as in their family, community, organizational and career fields, for the rest of their lives. |

I have read the book Spiral Dynamics and most of Ken Wilber’s publications. I feel I really know already how the “colors” work. I have attended many psychology/self-development/business workshops over the years, and work as a therapist/ counselor/ business or life coach/etc. May I therefore skip the Level One training and jump directly into Level Two events?
ANSWER: Certification in SDi Level One is a pre-requisite for attending in Level Two, irrespective of the advanced qualifications of the SDi applicant. This is to ensure that everybody who participates in the applications-rich, practical Level Two trainings have received the same thorough theoretical Level One grounding in the model. Level Two participation assumes a thorough working knowledge of the full theoretical SDi technology, which cannot be found anywhere else than during the full 3-day Level One learning experience. The theory, technology building blocks and research tools have been greatly expanded and enhanced since publication of the SD book in 1996. Familiarity with the eight worldviews which SDi describes (the vMeme levels AN-Beige through HU-Turquoise) is only a departure point for the rest of the in-depth technology taught during the three days of Level One. Level One also includes basic training in the full battery of SDi assessment measures, which cannot be acquired outside of the foundational course. |

When will the actual event program be available?
ANSWER: The daily program schedule for Level Two events is handed out to registered participants at the start of the event. This is to ensure that the program planning remains dynamically fluid and the best possible content resources are added right up the start.
